Latest Reviews, Comments, Questions for The Salvation Army Good Samaritan Center
Comment from The Salvation Army Good Samaritan Center: This agency says they only give assistance to Monterey Peninsula residents (or homeless or whatever). They don’t provide it for those living in Salinas CA & Salinas has none for anybody. This is ridiculous. We drove all the way from Salinas to try to get a gas voucher & rental help which we desperately need & this woman turned us away. I am a vet honorably discharged, but I don’t meet the criteria for HUDVash either - I’m not an addict or alcohol user & not in rehab programs & that’s the criteria for veterans to get HUDVash assistance. If this place in Sand City says they only provide help for Monterey Peninsula residents then why are they iin Sand City instead of ON the penonsula??? I think they should be audited. So should the Salvation Army in Salinas. They told us they help no one with rent. I’ve noticed too that the place is run by a bunch of elderly people - all congregate for lunch - if you look out back in the parking lot, their cars are expensive & either brand new or close to it. One would wonder what’s going on with them.Write a review/review about The Salvation Army Good Samaritan Center.
