Details: The Bloom Township General Assistance Department is available to disadvantaged Bloom Township residents who need financial support, counseling and assistance in order to maintain a constant quality of life and stable lifestyle. General Assistance is based on financial and nonfinancial elegibilty. General Assistance is available to those who do not qualify for Federal (SSI) or State of Illinois (TANF) assistance. The General Assistance Department provides many programs to eligible township residents.
