Details: The BVCOG Housing Choice Voucher Program is a federally-funded program for providing housing assistance to very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled to afford healthy and safe housing in the private market. Housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual directly to a landlord or property owner. Participants in the program are able to find their own housing, including single-family homes, townhouses and apartments. The participant has the freedom to choose any housing that meets the requirements of the program.
