Our jurisdiction is from South Padre Island to La Feria, Texas in Cameron County. The Public Housing's mission statement is as follows: "WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of Cameron, Texas deems it necessary to make a Statement of Mission that it is committed to provide low-income families with safe, decent and affordable housing in addition to promote programs that will lead to economic self-sufficiency and enhance the quality of life of our resident families.
