Details: The Section 8 Rental Assistance Program is designed to assist eligible low-income families throughout Napa County. The Section 8 program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of the program is to provide rental subsidy to very low-income families. A portion of the family's monthly rent is paid in the form of a subsidy directly to the landlord by the Housing Authority.
