Details: The Punta Gorda Housing Authority (PGHA) was established as a Public Housing Authority in May 1965 under Florida Statute to administer federal housing assistance for low, very low and extremely low income families, seniors and person with disabilities throughout Charlotte County, Florida. In addition to providing conventional public housing, PGHA also provides affordable housing through the administration of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) and its mixed finance community. PGHA offers rentals in two developments in Punta Gorda: Gulf Breeze Apartments and Oak Tree Village.
