Comment from South Haven Housing Commission: I am mentally consumed by the treatment from my executive director - John gill and manager- angelica dickerson John gill revels and takes personal pleasure in emotionally manipulating and degrading me. I was told I had no right to call HUD and there is not a Hud counselor. When I questioned why he made that comment(MORE THAN YOU) to me he denied ever saying that. He stated to me that june did not acknowledge that she found stool in the washer even though she left a note. Mr Gill wore a mask but when in the presence of his staff or other residents who were not wearing masks he said nothing, telling me he did not want to embarrass them. There has been cameras installed but Mr. Gill has not always taken any action when he sees violations or bad behavior occurring. I have great trepidation and mental anguish every day! I asked him to smell the 2nd floor hallway as my neighbor has been smoking pot for over 4 years. Many neighbors and staff has smelled skunk (marijuana) numerous times. His response was do you mean myself to evict her. I stated NO just please tell her to stop ????. Mr. Gill and Angelica Dickerson display a very cordial demeanor but it is a false representation. Told my manager a tenant was not wearing a mask and that I was told from that resident after I offered him a mask that he has one but only wears it when the manager is around. Nothing was addressed going forward. I feel targeted and Defamed by both the Executive director and manager The truth sets me Free! I feel they Prey on my disability and they have Malicious intent behind there behavior.

I suffer from PTSD as a direct result of the torment I endured from the South Haven Housing Commission. I am mentally consumed by the treatment from my executive director - John gill and manager- angelica Dickerson John gill relishes and takes personal pleasure in emotionally manipulating and degrading me. I was told I had no right to call HUD and there is not a Hud counselor. When I questioned why he made the comment (MORE THAN YOU!) when his head went in a forward motion and his eyes got huge with anger when I asked him what he has been thru traumatic in his life, and he continued on to explain to me how he has suffered more than I have. he denies ever saying that. He stated to me that a fellow resident did not acknowledge that she found solid body waste in the washer and dryer even though she left a note. Mr. Gill wears a mask but when in the presence of his staff or other residents who were not wearing masks he says nothing, telling me he did not want to embarrass them. He denied ever saying that I feel targeted and Defamed by both the Executive director and manager The truth sets me Free! I feel they Prey on my disability and they have Malicious intent behind their behavior. I have written this review so that another potential resident never has to endure the daily flashbacks and Torment I endure every day. It does humble me and remind me to never treat another human being without decency, honesty and respect. 2
